We use a high-density zinc alloy for the metal part. Zinc alloys usually do not rust, but they oxidize on the surface and form a protective oxide layer.
The outer layer is coated with high-quality nylon plastic, which is also not prone to rust. However, try to avoid long-term exposure to salt spray.
