At the CHINA CYCLE 2023, the GRUNDIG team made a strong appearance with the latest electric city bike GCB-1. With the stylish design and advanced technology, this e-bike attracted a lot of enthusiasts who wanted to experience its power and performance. The GRUNDIG team was on site to answer questions and conduct demonstrations, demonstrating our commitment to presence and innovation in the e-bike industry. GRUNDIG's appearance at CHINA CYCLE 2023 is a testament to our commitment to providing world-class products to cyclists around the world.
The GRUNDIG e-bike GCB-1 is a modern city e-bike with a low entry. The sturdy-looking frame accommodates the battery in the tube, which ensures a tidy look. The semi-integrated battery is equipped with LG cells, can be charged inside or outside the e-bike and has a capacity of 540 Wh. Fully charging an empty battery only takes 7-8 hours.
This e-bike has a maximum range of up to 100 km, which is more than enough for daily use in the city. But it is also ideal for traveling. Luggage can be stowed on the integrated luggage rack. The basket is hung on the bottom rail of the GCB-1. This provides more stability and leaves room for large luggage storage. The maximum payload of the GCB-1 is 150 kg.
The GRUNDIG e-bike is powered by the proven BAFANG M410 central motor. It delivers up to 80 Nm of torque. Initial tests with this drive unit show that the BAFANG M410 transfers its power to the rear wheel well and with a natural pedal feel. Together with the 9-speed gearbox, even steep climbs shouldn't be a problem. The gears of the GRUNDIG e-bike GCB-1 come from Shimano, the rear derailleur, cassette and shift lever come from the same product range and are therefore perfectly matched to one another.
These exciting features quickly caught the attention of business customers on the trade fair floor. During the trade fair, the GRUNDIG team received numerous business inquiries and order negotiations every day. The first China Cycle Show after Covid-19 not only showed the new vitality and opportunities of the bicycle industry, but also proved that quality and strength can distinguish good products.
GRUNDIG's entry into the e-bike industry is evidence of its commitment to innovation and sustainability. With decades of experience developing high-quality consumer electronics and devices, GRUNDIG brings its expertise in design, engineering and manufacturing to the world of e-bikes. The GCB e-bike range demonstrates GRUNDIG's commitment to developing products that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly, while providing riders of all levels with a comfortable and efficient riding experience.
