The roots of the GRUNDIG bicycle lie in the German company GRUNDIG AG, which was founded in 1945 by Max GRUNDIG and initially became world-famous for radio and television. In 1988, GRUNDIG made history as a sponsor of the first UCI Mountain Bike World Cup series. This exploration of new territory opened up the relationship between GRUNDIG and bicycles. In 2021, GRUNDIG established the e-bike distribution business in Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands and Hong Kong, China.
